There are a lot of options out there, so I wasn't sure what to try. I finally got this <a href="https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08HM23D9K/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1" target="_blank">Innelo Teeth Whitening Kit</a>.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhYPCh5beelAvqZLVfAsDZyAj4NlQgcrCrl11j6du7KfyNpNYVXDrfQG17bwS8pGnMt8vIfgGNRDNNxvf3hbJBGdNMn-d7cicO66ISMOZgr5Hwvyp4rY9q_0EKrBF-8NOshqSlIKAO_bSFt/s800/50576803623_659a419008_c.jpg" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" width="400" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhYPCh5beelAvqZLVfAsDZyAj4NlQgcrCrl11j6du7KfyNpNYVXDrfQG17bwS8pGnMt8vIfgGNRDNNxvf3hbJBGdNMn-d7cicO66ISMOZgr5Hwvyp4rY9q_0EKrBF-8NOshqSlIKAO_bSFt/s400/50576803623_659a419008_c.jpg"/></a></div>
It comes with 4 tubes of whitening gel, 1 tube of desensitizing gel, a mouth tray and case, and an LED light. It's very easy to use. You just turn the bottom of the tube to push the gel out, then you brush it into the mouth tray. The light connects to the mouth tray. The LED light helps to speed up the whitening process. It is recommended to wear it for 20 minutes at first, and then work up to 45 minutes.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSi-v7I8gpXdBhLDm6d_8T7boQQ5JSWgDtgzImFV0nSFJY5rr0lmPu8kodU1ycTEaaywpH51_g4VADawmsIpTUBjwx3jA3vSUf0JDvIu5-OsxR4-eAn9f9ZtHA_WndLz-canskNVD4RnHh/s800/50577591151_dda3ed89ff_c.jpg" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" width="400" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="800" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSi-v7I8gpXdBhLDm6d_8T7boQQ5JSWgDtgzImFV0nSFJY5rr0lmPu8kodU1ycTEaaywpH51_g4VADawmsIpTUBjwx3jA3vSUf0JDvIu5-OsxR4-eAn9f9ZtHA_WndLz-canskNVD4RnHh/s400/50577591151_dda3ed89ff_c.jpg"/></a></div>
I didn't notice any sensitivity after the first couple of uses, but it does come with desensitizing gel in case you have any problems with that. When you are done using it, you just rinse the mouth tray under warm water, dry it off, and store in the case. I have only done two treatments, and I am already noticing a difference in the color of my teeth. After 7-10 uses, I think the results will be great! The kit is a great value and so easy to use!

She said both she and her husband loved it. You really don't see or hear about bidets here in the US very often, but her post caught my interest.
A bidet helps you to feel cleaner AND use less toilet paper. It sounds like a win-win! I decided I wanted to give it a try so I purchased this <a href="https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08HD43C7X/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A33CJNS9KIS6S2&psc=1">Bidet Toilet Seat Attachment</a>.

It was really easy to install. I did have to add some bumpers to the toilet seat so there was enough room for the bidet attachment. The bidet has rear and front wash options, the water pressure is adjustable, and the nozzles are self-cleaning. I am so happy with it! It provides a fresh and clean feeling. And we're ready if we have another COVID-related toilet paper shortage!Debhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15229370532978777645noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1919573525732380003.post-75734158865620327212020-11-04T20:52:00.000-05:002020-11-04T20:52:45.381-05:00Weighted Blanket Improves SleepHi friends,
Have you ever struggled with anxiety or insomnia? I have, and I know that many people do. It's miserable!
I recently purchased this <a href="https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DBDKDYY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1">Qusleep Diamond Weighted Blanket</a> on Amazon. It has helped me to sleep so much better! The weight of the blanket is evenly distributed, and it has a very calming effect. It's like being in a little cocoon. I got the 15 pound blanket that is 48 inches x 72 inches. It is a nice size to curl up with.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhoECDLVR4a3udIz29HVvp4WZymzEn-sQm324D_vGB8rsZO7CtYRBTnreVsbT_uCo3amuyx7WyZB8Ep_gt_XP38DIe2-uI4n2ByNAvXwdnI4uB9wP0t1I7NGxfCo3HWbpzMP0nrup5aw-sv/s800/Blanket.jpg" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; "><img alt="" border="0" width="400" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhoECDLVR4a3udIz29HVvp4WZymzEn-sQm324D_vGB8rsZO7CtYRBTnreVsbT_uCo3amuyx7WyZB8Ep_gt_XP38DIe2-uI4n2ByNAvXwdnI4uB9wP0t1I7NGxfCo3HWbpzMP0nrup5aw-sv/s400/Blanket.jpg"/></a></div>
The blanket is really well made! The fabric is a soft cotton, and the blanket is machine washable. The price is really reasonable too at only $29.99. Weighted blankets can be very pricey, so I was happy to find this option. I am very pleased with this blanket and I would highly recommend it! If you're interested in trying it out, you can find it <a href="https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DBDKDYY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1">here</a>.
Sweet dreams!

We moved from Daylight Savings Time back to Standard Time. Some of you may have enjoyed the extra hour in bed. I do remember for those with young children, it can be very challenging because that means they wake up an hour earlier. It takes a while for everybody to adjust so it is common to feel sleep deprived for a bit.</p><p>One thing that is really hard about this time of year for me is the lack of sunlight. It's dark when I go to work in the morning, and it's dark when I come home at night. Not only that, but I work in a room with no windows in a hospital basement (right next to the morgue). I'm not even lying! </p><p>You may have heard of SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder). It's a real thing. The lack of sunlight this time of year can cause people to have depressive symptoms such as feelings of sadness, sleeping too much, lack of energy, overeating, etc. I'm sure it affects me, which is why I am very excited about this light that I just bought.</p><p>It is the <a href="https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08HV89TVQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1" target="_blank">Erlighpowht Light Therapy Lamp</a> that I found on Amazon. This thing is great! It is compact, so I can use it at home or in the office. It has 3 brightness settings and a built in timer. The brightest setting is extremely bright!</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhxFqgX0McAawa0USMJORbXi08CBHkT3uoNNhH-9oHcwo_RyaonYG8MoyS5pom35znML0Kq030Si70RPGgjqPbjoeUtK3rLUhTrpOQ8WzSlgH9LSxe_FPCSSQUsOQlrJ5pE-hlNDfCzkhI2/s800/50551554726_e1c78a4007_c.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="600" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhxFqgX0McAawa0USMJORbXi08CBHkT3uoNNhH-9oHcwo_RyaonYG8MoyS5pom35znML0Kq030Si70RPGgjqPbjoeUtK3rLUhTrpOQ8WzSlgH9LSxe_FPCSSQUsOQlrJ5pE-hlNDfCzkhI2/s320/50551554726_e1c78a4007_c.jpg" /></a></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div>I can use it while I'm working on my laptop or sitting and doing crafts. Once again, the inspiration came from Pinterest. Haha! I probably spend a little too much time on that site. I starting doing some embroidery earlier this year, and I have really enjoyed it! Here is my friendly, little Halloween ghostie...</p><p><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg79mFKQgxn0uBSAzLIwnSVRICf22GdVlmFvFz6QWRVyeovTnd-7zHbJloebBZc7nnuSbcSrHP2NdKHvLPl6EXQkKFlKAtgfwcNOWIysbiooN3DcF6m-IWMpw97sPH6HdheJm2sCeitS-Af/s800/50552193137_634a751431_c.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="800" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg79mFKQgxn0uBSAzLIwnSVRICf22GdVlmFvFz6QWRVyeovTnd-7zHbJloebBZc7nnuSbcSrHP2NdKHvLPl6EXQkKFlKAtgfwcNOWIysbiooN3DcF6m-IWMpw97sPH6HdheJm2sCeitS-Af/s320/50552193137_634a751431_c.jpg" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Isn't he adorable! It may look a little different this year for some people because of the pandemic, but hopefully you can still find a little joy and spirit in it. I don't have small children anymore, so it is definitely quieter than the "old days", but I still enjoy decorating, eating candy, and seeing kids all dressed up in costumes.</p><p>I decided to make a wall hanging for my Halloween decor this year. I got the inspiration from Pinterest. I saw a few different versions on there, so I'm not sure who the original credit goes to. I got the square canvas tiles at The Dollar Tree. I had all the acrylic paint on hand already.</p><p><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjgE6Rsy2hoEdwkIOxkrgDl9VP10OxWSgFHAvsH7o29ORu8qHIVn7ayN52aIgP_yr3LCkimXfuWNtRTwBzLeaITumPcot8gUeZDXmblPxja_xu_0M-eBO3zgDQQxXKf2tlxIbiaB2DrOl5p/s800/50550585763_1f5a5b1089_c.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="600" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjgE6Rsy2hoEdwkIOxkrgDl9VP10OxWSgFHAvsH7o29ORu8qHIVn7ayN52aIgP_yr3LCkimXfuWNtRTwBzLeaITumPcot8gUeZDXmblPxja_xu_0M-eBO3zgDQQxXKf2tlxIbiaB2DrOl5p/s320/50550585763_1f5a5b1089_c.jpg" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div><br /></div><div>I painted each tile and then added the ribbon on the back to hang them up. I have seen some amazing, vibrant colors in our area, and I just love it. I love Fall! It's hard to believe November is almost here though. I've been busy with some craft projects that I hope to share soon.</p><p>But right now, I actually want to share about a product I recently purchased. It is the <a href="https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08F7L4KSK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1" target="_blank">Awopee Bamboo Squatting Stool</a> from Amazon. This may seem like an awkward topic to discuss, but let's face it, we all go to the bathroom, right? </p><p>This stool just helps you to be in a position to go in a more natural way. It speeds up the process and helps avoid constipation and hemorrhoids. Those are pretty good benefits, so I hope more people will give this thing a chance.</p><p><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjWi7sMIAM4NF4-7m-ML4Fh3Kv0X4CczRI-zckdufUBxBFoE29LLltqNeEPokh8yqolCl4aU1jf9Cx7DIG-3TGnCUm1hOl4RMVREHHdcXLz2CaT4UbBNQn2yHVsqmXD8JwDmb9BT0Xhn3mb/s2016/image0.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2016" data-original-width="1512" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjWi7sMIAM4NF4-7m-ML4Fh3Kv0X4CczRI-zckdufUBxBFoE29LLltqNeEPokh8yqolCl4aU1jf9Cx7DIG-3TGnCUm1hOl4RMVREHHdcXLz2CaT4UbBNQn2yHVsqmXD8JwDmb9BT0Xhn3mb/s320/image0.jpeg" /></a></div><br /><p>The stool is very good quality. It is nice and sturdy. The curved cut-out fits right next to the toilet so the stool doesn't stick out too far. Another nice feature is that it folds up so you can easily tuck it away for storage if needed.</p><p><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzchm2qi3ubVsJS3besiSIWXS2rwjw97Lr6g-ySr47QA3Ivy3MruYS2Wc4vV3qtynzzG9xGok6ZvSZQ5QK2YtoVB8ANy0TlfLu49aEOHeVfVYl6kSn39Fpd-CDueQv-plh02sUfH6lulyR/s2016/image1.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1512" data-original-width="2016" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzchm2qi3ubVsJS3besiSIWXS2rwjw97Lr6g-ySr47QA3Ivy3MruYS2Wc4vV3qtynzzG9xGok6ZvSZQ5QK2YtoVB8ANy0TlfLu49aEOHeVfVYl6kSn39Fpd-CDueQv-plh02sUfH6lulyR/s320/image1.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><p>I highly recommend this product. Don't be embarrassed... just give it a try. I think you'll thank me.</p><p>#awopee</p>Debhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15229370532978777645noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1919573525732380003.post-42960374219996918392012-05-26T20:59:00.000-04:002012-05-26T20:59:20.351-04:00Our new addition<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

The whole family went to pick up our new puppy today. Isn't he a cutie!? This is Barney, our 13 week old beagle pup. He is the sweetest thing ever! He played with the kids, took a walk to the park, and ran all over the back yard all day. He is one tuckered out little guy now. :)Debhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15229370532978777645noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1919573525732380003.post-51339260764728271502010-06-06T23:11:00.001-04:002010-06-06T23:11:01.056-04:00Having fun with my Cricut...<div style="float: right; margin-left: 10px; margin-bottom: 10px;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/25077728@N02/4420675954/" title="photo sharing"><img src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4059/4420675954_39216bc8d8_m.jpg" alt="" style="border: solid 2px #000000;" /></a><br /><span style="font-size: 0.9em; margin-top: 0px;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/25077728@N02/4420675954/">AFSpillowbox-dbrprc-web</a><br />Originally uploaded by <a href="http://www.flickr.com/people/25077728@N02/">dbrprc</a></span></div>I got a Cricut for my birthday, and I am having so much fun learning how to use it! Check out this cute pillow box I made using a digital kit by Kristin Cronin-Barrow. I love how the layered paper flower turned out. I found some tutorials on YouTube that show how to make all kinds of paper flowers with a personal die cut machine. I can't wait to try out more of them!<br /><br />That's it for now, have a great week!<br clear="all" />Debhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15229370532978777645noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1919573525732380003.post-74570932941177245692010-05-13T21:32:00.004-04:002010-05-13T21:46:07.090-04:00May FlowersHere is my card for the latest Designed2Delight blog challenge. I used the latest image from Faith Skrdla called "April Showers", available at <a href="http://designed2delightdigishop.blogspot.com/">Designed2Delight digital stamps</a>. I love this cute image! I tried something different with this card... I colored the image digitally in PSE (Photoshop Elements). That is AKA "the lazy crafter's coloring method"... hehe<br /><br />The papers are from a grab bag by Plum Dumpling Designs that will be released tomorrow at <a href="http://scrapmatters.com/shop/home.php">ScrapMatters</a>, and the sentiment is from Krisi's Kreations. It is also being released tomorrow at SM.<br /><br /><a href="http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm137/dbrprc/2010/layouts%20and%20projects/UmbrellaBirdcard_dbrprc_web.jpg"><img style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 600px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 600px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm137/dbrprc/2010/layouts%20and%20projects/UmbrellaBirdcard_dbrprc_web.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><div>I am heading off to a field trip to see the movie "Oceans" with my twins and their 4th grade classes. This image is called "Bunches", and it is available at <a href="http://designed2delightdigishop.blogspot.com/">Designed2Delight digital stamps</a>. The papers are from a digital kit called Sunday Afternoon by Trixie Scraps and Sarah Bennett.<br /><br />I had to laugh when I came upstairs with this card to photograph it. I was in a hurry to finish it up before the deadline, and I colored it downstairs where the lighting is not very good. I thought I could see okay at the time, but when I saw my card in good light, I realized the bear looks pretty bad! lol Oh well, if you squint he looks okay. I will have to try to do a touch up later...<br /><br /><a href="http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm137/dbrprc/2010/layouts%20and%20projects/BearD2Dcard_dbrprc_web.jpg"><img style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 480px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 600px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm137/dbrprc/2010/layouts%20and%20projects/BearD2Dcard_dbrprc_web.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><div>Thanks for checking out my card.... have a great day!</div>Debhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15229370532978777645noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1919573525732380003.post-12552660333376969212010-04-08T15:48:00.002-04:002010-04-08T16:07:45.369-04:00Spring PeepHey there! Just stopping by to share my latest creation...<br /><br />I really LOVE this adorable image by Faith Skrdla called "Spring Peep"! You can find this image and more at <a href="http://designed2delightdigishop.blogspot.com/">Designed2Delight digital stamps</a>. I colored the image with a blender pen and the following Stampin' Up ink colors: So Saffron, Old Olive, Pink Passion, Soft Sky and Bashful Blue.<br /><br />I also used the following digital supplies... Sunshine and Daffodils (elements), Sunshine and Daffodils (papers), Watercolor Papers and Snipettes: Springtime, all by <a href="http://scrapmatters.com/shop/manufacturers.php?manufacturerid=71">Sahlin Studio</a>. If you are into digital scrapbooking or hybrid papercrafting, you have <em>got</em> to check out Krista's store. She has so many gorgeous digital goodies!<br /><br /><a href="http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm137/dbrprc/2010/layouts%20and%20projects/BirdieCard_dbrprc_web.jpg"><img style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 600px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 400px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm137/dbrprc/2010/layouts%20and%20projects/BirdieCard_dbrprc_web.jpg" border="0" /></a><br />Only a few more days left of Spring Break. The kids have enjoyed their time off school, but we sure have had some strange weather in the past week! Last Thursday and Friday, the temp got up into the 80's... highly unusual for Michigan in April. Then on Tuesday morning we had pouring rain and a thunderstorm with marble sized hail! There was flooding all over the place. Now today as I sit here and type this post, it has started snowing twice... but it only lasted a minute or two each time. Talk about strange! But that's Michigan for ya!<br /><br />Have a great day!Debhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15229370532978777645noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1919573525732380003.post-42024306690968502212010-04-05T12:14:00.004-04:002010-04-05T12:38:38.488-04:00Spring Break is here...Just a quick post today.... my kids are all home for Spring Break this week, so it is very busy around here! I managed to get this card done for the latest challenge at Designed2Delight. This image by Faith Skrdla is called Light of Life, and you can find it at <a href="http://designed2delightdigishop.blogspot.com/">Designed2Delight digital stamps</a>.<br /><br />I colored the image with my Prismacolor colored pencils and sponged in the sky with Soft Sky ink. Unfortunately, the colors look a bit washed out in the photo.<br /><br />The digital papers I used are all from the Enchanted Sea kit by A+ Designs and Pixie Perfect Designs.<br /><br /><br /><img style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 600px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 480px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm137/dbrprc/2010/layouts%20and%20projects/LighthouseD2D_dbrprc_web.jpg" border="0" /><br /><div>It is fairly simple, but I think it makes a nice masculine birthday card. So that's all for now... hope you have a great week!</div>Debhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15229370532978777645noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1919573525732380003.post-76581301810349022342010-03-29T12:26:00.002-04:002010-03-29T12:50:39.899-04:00I love digital stamps! It has been a couple of years now since I switched my focus from stamping to digital scrapbooking. My stamps have been sitting neglected for quite some time and I have even sold many of my sets. But I still enjoy making cards with my digital supplies, and digital stamps are a great new addition to my stash.<br /><br />Here is the most recent card I made. I love how this turned out! The image (called Garden Fairy) is by Faith Skrdla from <a href="http://designed2delightdigishop.blogspot.com/">Designed2Delight digital stamps</a>. She has tons of adorable images available in her shop... I was so excited to discover them recently!<br /><br />I also used papers and elements from the <a href="http://sweetshoppedesigns.com/sweetshoppe/product.php?productid=19941&cat=0&page=1">Sisterly Love</a> digital kit by Kristin Cronin-Barrow and Meghan Mullens.<br /><br /><img style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 600px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 600px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm137/dbrprc/2010/layouts%20and%20projects/GardenFairycard-dbrprc-web.jpg" border="0" /><br /><br />What do you think... isn't it sweet? Thanks for stopping by, and have a fantastic day!Debhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15229370532978777645noreply@blogger.com7tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1919573525732380003.post-45548168169051389122010-03-09T14:10:00.005-05:002010-03-09T20:46:51.461-05:00Sweet baby buggy...Hey there, crafters! I finished up a fun project today for a baby shower I will be attending this weekend... It turned out so cute, if I do say so myself! :) I made it with the <a href="http://mytimemadeeasy.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=7_5&products_id=76">Bouncing Baby Buggy template</a> by Lauren Meader from My Time Made Easy. The template was so easy to use, and I love the results!<br /><br />Another reason I love this template is because of it's versatility. You aren't limited to just a baby buggy. I have seen several different projects made using this same template... a boat, an easter basket, and a wheelbarrow. How cool is that!? I know I will get a ton of use from this template!<br /><br />I used digital papers from Kristin Cronin-Barrows' <a href="http://sweetshoppedesigns.com/sweetshoppe/product.php?productid=17174&cat=0&page=1">Goody Two Shoes</a> kit to decorate the buggy. I love the soft colors in this kit, so I knew it would be just right for my girly baby buggy.<br /><br /><div><a href="http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm137/dbrprc/2010/layouts%20and%20projects/BabyCarriage1.jpg"><img style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 600px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 600px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm137/dbrprc/2010/layouts%20and%20projects/BabyCarriage1.jpg" border="0" /></a> <span style="color:#ffffff;">*</span></div><div>For the finishing touches, I added satin ribbon around the middle of the buggy, white buttons on the wheels, and finally ric rac, brads, a paper flower and dew drop center to the buggy shade.</div><div><span style="color:#ffffff;">*</span></div><div></div><div><img style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 600px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 600px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm137/dbrprc/2010/layouts%20and%20projects/BabyCarriage2.jpg" border="0" /> </div><div></div><div>Here is a better view of the pretty little bow on the back...</div><div></div><div><br /></div><img style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 600px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 600px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm137/dbrprc/2010/layouts%20and%20projects/BabyCarriage3.jpg" border="0" /><br /><br />Now I just have to find the perfect little gift to tuck inside and I will be ready for the baby shower. I think this will make the mom-to-be smile!<br /><br />Thanks for stopping by my blog... have a great week!Debhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15229370532978777645noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1919573525732380003.post-63062894576644922922009-11-10T10:08:00.009-05:002009-11-10T10:38:16.880-05:00Some more digital and hybrid goodies...Hey there! Did you all have a wonderful iDSD? I didn't get to play as much as I wanted too, but I still managed to snag some kits that have been on my wish list, and I made a couple layouts too.<br /><br />Here are some projects I have created in the recent past. Life is so busy, I have a hard time keeping my little bloggy up to date. But anyway, here are a few things...<br /><br />My 9 year old son is an avid reader, so when Kristin Cronin-Barrow released <a href="http://sweetshoppedesigns.com/sweetshoppe/product.php?productid=19250&cat=0&page=1">Bookworm</a>, I knew I would make something for him. I decided to do a simple little reading log, by covering a mini legal pad.<br /><br /><p><img style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 600px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 600px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm137/dbrprc/2009/layouts%20and%20projects/ReadingLogweb.jpg" border="0" /></p><p>I was in the mood to scrap a layout one day, so I used the beautiful <a href="http://www.pennysmiscellany.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=321">Autumn Spice</a> kit by Penny Springmann, as well as her <a href="http://www.pennysmiscellany.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=8_20&products_id=253">All Worn Out: Photograph and Paper Overlays 3</a> and <a href="http://www.pennysmiscellany.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=336">Word Jumbles: Autumn</a>. Fall is my favorite time of year, so this kit just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside! LOL<br /></p><p><img style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 600px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 600px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm137/dbrprc/2009/layouts%20and%20projects/AutumnSpice_GoldenDaysweb.jpg" border="0" /><br />Laura of simply.scraps is a guest designer at The Digichick for the month of November. She released this cute kit called <a href="http://www.thedigichick.com/shop/product.php?productid=21043">Toot Toot Woo Woo</a> at TDC to kick off her time there. I dug way back in my photos to find these of my oldest son who is now 13! I just love these pictures, though, and they were perfect for this kit!</p><p><br /><img style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 600px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 600px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm137/dbrprc/2009/layouts%20and%20projects/TootTootWooWooweb.jpg" border="0" /><br />Trixie Scraps recently released this collab with Golden Girls Digital Designs, called <a href="http://scrapmatters.com/shop/product.php?productid=2787&cat=0&page=1">Work It</a>! I love all the great elements in this kit, and it was perfect timing for me, as I have recently embarked on a healthy lifestyle change. I made a fitness journal to keep me motivated on my journey.</p><div> <img style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 600px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 600px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm137/dbrprc/2009/layouts%20and%20projects/JournalLOweb.jpg" border="0" /><br />And finally, I made this cute little Halloween decoration using <a href="http://daniellecorbittdesigns.com/zencart/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=72">Ooky Spooky</a> and <a href="http://daniellecorbittdesigns.com/zencart/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=12&products_id=78">All Boxed In template</a> by Danielle Corbitt. I know we are switching gears for Christmas now, but this could easily be made into a fun Christmas project. How about JOY or NOEL blocks?<br /><br /><img style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 600px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 600px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm137/dbrprc/2009/layouts%20and%20projects/BooBlocks-web.jpg" border="0" /><br />So thanks for stopping by... I hope I was able to provide you with just a little inspiration! Have a great day!<br /><br /><div></div></div>Debhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15229370532978777645noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1919573525732380003.post-37518630690511778822009-10-26T12:31:00.003-04:002009-10-26T12:47:24.751-04:00Photo wallet projectHey there! I've been creating like mad, but I just realized I haven't posted any of my projects here in a while. Oops! So I guess it's time to rectify that...<br /><br />I found this fun <a href="http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/photo_wallet">photo wallet tutorial</a> over at Splitcoast Stampers. They have so many fun project ideas on their site. Here is how my first photo wallet turned out...<br /><br />I made it using <a href="http://scrapmatters.com/shop/product.php?productid=2695&cat=0&page=1">Indian Summer</a> by Trixie Scraps:<br /><br /><a href="http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm137/dbrprc/2009/layouts%20and%20projects/IS_photowalletweb.jpg"><img style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 600px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 600px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm137/dbrprc/2009/layouts%20and%20projects/IS_photowalletweb.jpg" border="0" /></a><br />I really love how it turned out, so I decided to make another, more girly photo wallet. This time I used <a href="http://sweetshoppedesigns.com/sweetshoppe/product.php?productid=18140&cat=0&page=1">Cherry Sweet</a> by Kristin Cronin-Barrow. I still have to add the journaling on the inside flaps of this one.<br /><br /><br /><p><img style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 600px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 600px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm137/dbrprc/2009/layouts%20and%20projects/wallet-collageWEB.jpg" border="0" /></p><p>This is a simple, cute project that would make a great little gift for a grandparent or another favorite friend or relative. Give it a try!</p><p>Have a great week!<br /></p>Debhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15229370532978777645noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1919573525732380003.post-90764463744780389062009-10-13T14:38:00.008-04:002009-10-13T16:26:26.323-04:00Hybrid clipboard and a few layouts...I've been busy working on more CT projects... here are the latest:<br /><br />The first two layouts use <a href="http://www.gottapixel.net/store/product.php?productid=24903&cat=0&page=1">School Girl Crush</a> by simply.scraps. This kit is so much fun, I love the bright colors and unique elements...<br /><br /><img style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 600px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 600px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm137/dbrprc/2009/layouts%20and%20projects/SGC_TotallyTween_web.jpg" border="0" /><br /><br /><div><br /><img style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 600px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 600px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm137/dbrprc/2009/layouts%20and%20projects/SchoolGirlCrushweb.jpg" border="0" /><br />This layout uses Frank the Frog by simply.scraps, you can find it <a href="http://www.gottapixel.net/store/manufacturers.php?manufacturerid=97">here</a>. Scroll down a couple posts to see another layout I made with this cute kit...<br /><br /><div><img style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 600px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 600px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm137/dbrprc/2009/layouts%20and%20projects/FranktheFrog2web-1.jpg" border="0" /></div><br /><div></div><br /><div>And finally, here is my first project as a CT member for Kristin Cronin-Barrow. I decorated this mini clipboard using some beautiful papers and elements from the kit <a href="http://sweetshoppedesigns.com/sweetshoppe/product.php?productid=18938&cat=0&page=1">All About Her</a>...</div><br /><div>So cute, isn't it?! My daughter saw it and immediately claimed it as her own.<br /><br /></div><img style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 600px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 600px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm137/dbrprc/2009/layouts%20and%20projects/AAHclipboardweb.jpg" border="0" /><br />That's it for now, but I'm sure I'll have more to post soon!<br /><br /><div></div></div>Debhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15229370532978777645noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1919573525732380003.post-81350152779327266162009-10-11T17:16:00.002-04:002009-10-11T17:26:21.192-04:00Pinch me... I must be dreaming!Well, the official announcement has been made, so I can let the cat out of the bag! Last week, Kristin Cronin-Barrow announced that she was having a CT call, so I decided to apply on a whim. I couldn't let it pass by without at least giving it a try, because I am absolutely in love with all of Kristin's designs! Well, guess what?! I made it!!!!! I am still in shock...<br /><br />I will be doing hybrid projects as part of the KCB Crew. I will be posting my creations here soon!<br /><br /><br /><img style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 600px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 510px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://i36.tinypic.com/r2qhlg.png" border="0" />Debhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15229370532978777645noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1919573525732380003.post-83238346140552124782009-10-10T12:00:00.004-04:002009-10-10T12:23:11.414-04:00My lastest projects...I finished up a few CT projects this week, so I thought I'd share them here. I am doing hybrid projects for two teams now, and I am having so much fun with it! The first project I did was a little book to jot down all the things I am thankful for in life. I call it my Book of Blessings...<br /><span style="color:#ffffff;">*</span><br />I used <em>Autumn Spice</em> by Penny Springmann, now available at <a href="http://www.pennysmiscellany.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=321">Penny's Miscellany</a> or <a href="http://sweetshoppedesigns.com/sweetshoppe/product.php?productid=19177&cat=0&page=1">SSD</a>. This kit is just gorgeous!<br /><br /><img style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 600px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 600px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm137/dbrprc/2009/layouts%20and%20projects/BookofBlessingsweb.jpg" border="0" /><br /><br />Then next project was a few little Halloween treat packages using the fun and funky <em>Cute Lil' Punkin</em> by Trixie Scraps, which is available at <a href="http://scrapmatters.com/shop/product.php?productid=2686&cat=0&page=1">ScrapMatters</a>. I made a couple matchbook treat holders and a candy bar pull treat. You can find the tutorial for the pull treat <a href="http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/pull_treats/">here</a>.<br /><br /><br /><div><a href="http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm137/dbrprc/2009/layouts%20and%20projects/LilPunkintreatsweb.jpg"><img style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 600px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 600px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm137/dbrprc/2009/layouts%20and%20projects/LilPunkintreatsweb.jpg" border="0" /></a><br />I also did this layout using the adorable <em>Frank the Frog</em> by simply.scraps. You can pick up the <a href="http://www.gottapixel.net/store/product.php?productid=24857&cat=0&page=1">elements</a>, <a href="http://www.gottapixel.net/store/product.php?productid=24855&cat=0&page=1">papers</a>, and <a href="http://www.gottapixel.net/store/product.php?productid=24856&cat=0&page=1">alpha</a> for just $1.00 each during the Gotta Grab It Event at Gotta Pixel, which runs today throught 10/13.<br /><br /><div><img style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 600px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 600px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm137/dbrprc/2009/layouts%20and%20projects/FranktheFrog2web.jpg" border="0" /></div></div><br /><p> </p><p>Thanks for stopping by... have a great weekend!</p>Debhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15229370532978777645noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1919573525732380003.post-43075644781692629902009-10-04T00:34:00.002-04:002009-10-04T00:43:43.144-04:00Buy Danielle's Store!!Danielle Corbitt is having an amazing sale... for just $30.00 you can <a href="http://www.scrappity-doo-dah.com/store/product.php?productid=1895&cat=0&page=1">buy her ENTIRE store</a>!!
