Heart to Heart Challenge
I read about the Heart to Heart Challenge started by Cammie (Carolyn King) on her blog. You can read all about it here.
Cammie designed a stamp set called Whimsical Autumn, available at Gina K Designs. 100% of the proceeds will go to the Alzheimer's Association in honor of Cammie's grandmother.
In addition to that, Cammie had the wonderful idea to encourage others to send a card to a caretaker of someone with Alzheimer's disease. Cammie is offering some amazing blog candy (worth over $1000.00) to one lucky person who sends a card. Check out the post on her blog for more info. My stepmother used to be a caretaker for an Alzheimer's patient for many years. From her experience I can say, it is a very difficult job. The caretakers really need encouragement. Here is the card I made to send to the nursing home where Cammie's grandmother used to live. I hope it brightens the staff's day just a little!
