A few of my favorite things...
I made this card for the June card contest in the Wish-RAK forum at SCS. The requirements for the contest were to create a square card with a beach theme, using images or other elements received through Wish-RAK. I love how it turned out! This is such a fun set, and it should actually be on a UPS truck heading to me tomorrow. After playing with these Wish-RAK images, I decided I had to have the set, so I ordered it the last day the spring mini was available.
The title of my post is "A few of my favorite things". Can you guess what they are, based on this card? Well, there's my cuttlebug - the best thing since sliced bread! It is a personal die cutting machine, but I use mine mainly for the dry embossing function. It adds so much to a card, and it is so quick and easy. Then there is my Marvy Giga Scallop Circle punch. Man, they were hard to find there for a while, but I persevered, and I'm glad I did. And, of course, we have ribbon and brads - my absolute favorite embellishments. Finally, we have Wish-RAK images. I've mentioned it before, but I'll say it again : Wish-RAK is the place to be! The members there are so generous and kind, not to mention that being a part of it has saved me hundreds of dollars, LOL!
